Home or favorite faire don't know yet! oO;;; would it be the first Ren Faire I ever attended?
About Me I'm a wife and mother of two, ages 21 and 24, and I work for a major retail chain in the electronics department. I've taught Sunday School for over 20 years, and am now the song director at our church. And yes, I'm a bellydancer, and I'm 47 years old as of this writing. I'm also very short (hobbit-sized?). ^^;;; Just did my social profile; WHY ISN'T THERE A 4 FT. NINE THING? :(
Music Contemporary Christian, classical, classical/pop fusion, Middle Eastern and bhangra, most all genres of rock music
Movies Anything with viral zombies, talking robots that turn into cars, superheroes, or space aliens. ^^ I also love fantasy and period films, such as LOTR, and Ever After
    TV I don't watch a lot of T.V. anymore; if I like a show, I'll usually get boxed sets of seasons. I'm still a big fan of Stargate SG-1 and other sci-fi shows, but I'm mainly into Japanese anime, DragonballZ being my ALL-TIME favorite. I also like Bleach, Naruto, Yu-Yu-Hakusho, Wolf's Rain, Full Metal Alchemist, Full Metal Panic, and others that I can't think of right now because it's 2:55 in the morning...oO;;
Books The Holy Bible (Authorized King James Version only), The Two Babylons, Fox's Book of Martyrs, Play To The Angel, The Joy Luck Club, Anne Frank's Diary, In Search of David's Heart, books on history (especially ancient history), dictionaries, encyclopedias, non-fiction, children's books, just about anything by Shakespeare
Likes FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! Also, my family and friends, my church, meeting new people and making friends, learning new things, music, small cute animals, living flowers (not cut ones), movies, books, walking in the woods
Dislikes People who hurt other people; materialistic people; snobs; people who think they're better than others (especially the ones who look down their noses at people like myself who work for Wal-Mart, or similar places).
Hobbies music, singing, playing the violin, writing poetry, drawing and painting, day hiking, playing old-school video games, studying ancient history, reading, gardening, and of course, BELLYDANCING! :D
Vices FOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!! *does the Homer Simpson thing*
Virtues ^^;; I will let everyone decide for themselves what they might be...
Heroes anyone who makes a difference in the lives of others, perhaps without even realizing it

    Changes

It's never easy, this thing called change,
It turns you around, and makes everything strange.
Change is difficult; it's hard to let go
Of the things in your life you used to know.
You wish everything would stay the same
Like a movie scene in timeless freeze-frame.
    But life doesn't always work the way we'd like;
We never know when the unexpected will strike.
As hard as it is (especially for me),
It's important to accept change graciously.
We can learn lessons from life's little surprises,
Assess strengths and faults, and let knowledge guide us.
Change can be a challenge instead of distress,
If we rise to meet it with courageousness,
Because change can be good, even if we don't see
What lies ahead of us, for in life, there are few guarantees.

    ripples

cast a stone into the water
    watch as the ripples extend
    from the center of disturbance

    even a small pebble
    cast upon still waters
    makes its presence felt

    the splash of water drops
    comes raining down
    broadcasting their own messages

    making their way slowly
    the ripples radiate out
    until they touch the shore

    for every deed committed
    small or great
    good or evil
every life is affected in some small way
