ripplescast a stone into the waterwatch as the ripples extend from the center of disturbance even a small pebble cast upon still waters makes its presence felt the splash of water drops comes raining down broadcasting their own messages making their way slowly the ripples radiate out until they touch the shore for every deed committed small or great good or evil every life is affected in some small way September 28, 2002 |

Thank you, kind sir. Poetry has always been in my heart; it helps to express what I observe in life, and how I feel about it. :) Farasha Hanem |

Thank you, Lady Francesca. :) A few years back, I thought of how our actions affect the lives of others like ripples on a pond. This was when we still lived in the country, so, being inspired, early one morning I walked down to the pond, and began casting stones of different sizes into it, in differen areas, and observing the results. This poem written in prose was the result of my observations on that calm, beautiful morning. Farasha Hanem |
